Fortis F1 Optics Mount – Lower 1/3 Co-Witness

The Fortis F1 Optics Mount is a lightweight, low-profile red dot mount designed for Aimpoint Micro-pattern optics and other compatible red dot sights. Machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, the F1 weighs only 1.3 ounces while providing a secure mounting platform for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails.

The mount positions the optic forward and provides a lower 1/3 co-witness with compatible backup iron sights. This configuration keeps the iron sights available in the lower portion of the optic window while providing a larger unobstructed field of view through the red dot.

Lower 1/3 Co-Witness

With a height of 0.955 inches, the Fortis F1 is designed around a lower 1/3 co-witness configuration. This places compatible backup iron sights lower in the optic window rather than directly through its center.
