KRISS Vector Gen II SBR 9mm – 5.5 in., Black

The KRISS Vector Gen II SBR is a factory short-barreled rifle on the KRISS Vector Gen II platform, chambered in 9mm with a 5.5-inch threaded barrel. It runs on KRISS's patented Super V recoil mitigation system — a closed-bolt, delayed-blowback action that redirects energy down and away from the shooter. It feeds from Glock G17-pattern magazines at 17+1 capacity, and it is an NFA-controlled item.

Super V Delayed Blowback

The Vector's Super V system redirects recoil energy downward rather than straight back, which reduces felt recoil and muzzle climb. The Gen II platform is a multi-caliber system: caliber changes take seconds without tools, and the gun field-strips with a 4-pin toolless disassembly.

Threaded 5.5-Inch Barrel

The 5.5-inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly steel with a Black Nitride (QPQ) finish, six grooves, and a 1:10-inch right-hand twist. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for suppressor attachment.

Stock, Sights, and Rails

Per KRISS's specification for this model, the stock is the KRISS M4 stock adaptor with a Defiance M4 stock, adjustable to fit the user. Sights are low-profile flip-up front and rear, adjustable. A full-length 13-inch MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny top rail and a bottom accessory rail are fitted, over an advanced polymer composite frame.

Controls

The Gen II trigger is a pivoting single-stage design at 5.5 pounds with a smooth pull and audible/tactile reset. The safety is ambidextrous with a short throw; the magazine release is a button on the left side, and the charging handle on the left side of the receiver doubles as a brass check.
