Magpul PMAG 40 GEN M3 5.56 40-Round Magazine – Black

The Magpul PMAG 40 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 40-round 5.56x45 NATO polymer magazine for AR15/M4 platforms, in black — ten more rounds than the standard 30-round PMAG without added bulk. Magpul lists wide compatibility with most STANAG 4179 platforms, including the AR15, M4, M16, HK416/MR556, M27 IAR, SCAR MK16/16S, IWI Tavor, and SA-80.

40-Round Extended Capacity

The magazine holds 40 rounds of 5.56x45mm NATO / .223 Remington, fed through constant-curve internal geometry for smooth feeding.

GEN M3 Polymer Construction

The next-generation body is impact- and crush-resistant polymer with modified dimensions for wider compatibility with non Colt-spec platforms, reinforced feed lips, a ribbed gripping surface with aggressive front and rear texture, and an over-travel insertion stop on the spine.

Anti-Tilt Follower and Stainless Spring

The anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower runs on a long-life stainless steel spring.

Flared Floorplate

The flared floorplate removes for disassembly and cleaning and stays slim enough for many double and triple pouches. Paint pen dot matrix panels on the bottom of the body allow identification marking.
