At the heart of the MK1 is SOLGW's 11.5-inch Medium Contour "Recce" P3 barrel, featuring innovative 3-Groove Polygonal (P3) rifling for improved ammunition compatibility, enhanced barrel life, and outstanding accuracy. Combined with a properly tuned carbine-length gas system, conservative gas port sizing, and the enhanced A5 buffer system, the MK1 delivers an incredibly smooth shooting experience with excellent reliability.

The billet upper and lower receiver set incorporates numerous ergonomic improvements, including an enlarged magazine well, optimized bolt catch geometry, integral trigger guard, enlarged magazine release fencing, and an updated forward assist location for improved charging handle clearance. The MK1's 10.75-inch free-float rail features integrated cable management, laser texturing, stainless steel anti-rotation dowels, seven-sided M-LOK compatibility, and a continuous Picatinny top rail for maximum accessory flexibility.

Every MK1 is individually built and test-fired before leaving the factory.
