The Streamlight TLR-7 X Sub is a multi-fuel, rail-mounted weapon light for subcompact handguns, in black, with a specialized clamp for the Glock 43X MOS, 48 MOS, 43X Rail, and 48 Rail. On the included CR123A battery it produces 550 lumens; it also accepts Streamlight's SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack, on which it produces 725 lumens.

Multi-Fuel Output

On a CR123A: 550 lumens, 5,000 candela, 141 m beam, 1.5 hours. On an SL-B9 pack: 725 lumens, 7,700 candela, 176 m beam, 1 hour. The SL-B9 pack (not included in this package) charges in about 2.5 hours via USB-C. The battery installs and removes through the face cap without removing the light from the gun.

Glock Slimline Clamp

The specialized clamp system fits the Glock 43X MOS, 48 MOS, 43X Rail, and 48 Rail accessory rails, with a one-handed snap-on-and-tighten interface that keeps hands away from the muzzle. A key kit is provided for a secure fit.

Rear Paddle Switches

Ambidextrous rear switches sit left and right of the trigger guard. Interchangeable high and low paddle switches, a safe-off feature, and a user-activated strobe (double-tap either switch, if enabled) are included in the design.

Construction

The body and face cap are 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish; the switch housing is impact- and chemical-resistant engineered polymer. The lens is high-temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant BOROFLOAT glass. The light is IPX7 rated — waterproof to 1 m for 30 minutes — and extensively live-fire tested.
