Staccato HD P4.5 2011 9mm 4.5" Optics Ready Pistol
The Staccato HD P4.5 is part of the next generation of Staccato's 2011 pistol platform, combining updated ergonomics, a redesigned optics mounting system, an improved recoil system, and an active firing pin block. Chambered in 9mm, the P4.5 is built around a 4140 steel frame and features a 4.5-inch stainless bull barrel with a black DLC finish.
The P4.5 uses the shorter slide configuration of the P4 while incorporating a one-piece sight block design. This increases barrel length to 4.5 inches and adds non-reciprocating mass at the muzzle while retaining the faster cycling characteristics of the shorter slide. The result is a configuration designed to provide a quick recoil impulse with reduced muzzle movement.
4.5" Bull Barrel & Sight Block Design
At the heart of the HD P4.5 is a 4.5-inch stainless steel bull barrel. Staccato's one-piece sight block configuration adds non-reciprocating mass toward the muzzle, helping improve stability and controllability without requiring the longer reciprocating slide of a traditional 4.5-inch pistol.
Staccato HD Platform
The HD series represents a substantial update to the Staccato 2011 platform. The P4.5 incorporates revised ergonomics, an improved recoil system, an updated optics mounting system, and an active firing pin block designed around enhanced durability and duty-focused performance.
Optics Ready
The Staccato HD P4.5 features the HD optics mounting system for compatible pistol-mounted red dot optics. Ameriglo blacked-out iron sights provide a clean sight picture when using the pistol without an optic.
Optic is not included.
Glock-Pattern Magazine Compatibility
One of the major changes incorporated into the HD platform is the use of Glock-pattern magazines. This P4.5 configuration ships with two 18-round magazines.
Performance-Oriented Controls
The P4.5 is equipped with a 4-4.5 lb curved aluminum trigger and an ambidextrous manual safety. Its textured polymer grip provides a secure interface with the shooter, while the flat-wire recoil system supports the pistol's updated recoil characteristics.
