Complete the official NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course with Ready Gunner in Orem, Utah. This certified NRA pistol course combines self-paced online learning with hands-on, live-fire range instruction supervised by an NRA Certified Instructor.

The classroom portion of the course is completed through the NRA’s online e-learning program. After successfully completing the online coursework and NRA testing, students attend a 2–3 hour live-fire training session at the Ready Gunner range in Orem.

How the Course Works

After purchasing the course, you will receive an NRA e-learning access code within 24 hours. The online coursework and NRA testing must be completed and passed before attending the live-fire range portion of the course.

Before selecting a range date, make sure you have enough time to complete the required e-learning portion.

If you do not have a firearm, rentals are available at the Ready Gunner range counter. Ready Gunner ammunition must be used in all rental firearms.
